What it is
The tedious part of deshedding is not the brushing, it is picking matted fur out of the bristles every thirty seconds. This brush retracts its bristles into the head at the press of a button, so the fur lifts off in a single piece and you carry on.
The bristles are fine and bent at the tip, which is what lets them reach through the topcoat to the loose undercoat underneath without scratching the skin.
